Spring Makers’ Fair – Saturday 3 and Sunday 4 May

Worcester City Art Gallery & Museum is hosting a Spring Makers’ Fair on 3 and 4 May showcasing a wide variety of craft to purchase from an exciting range of craft makers from Worcestershire and beyond.

An exquisite and colourful range of jewellery, woodwork, homeware, textiles, metalwork, painting and prints, as well as artisan foods will be on sale, with different makers exhibiting across the two days. There will also be a Mehndi henna artist offering a variety of traditional mehndi designs.

Art Gallery & Museum Events Officer Tracey Ayre says: “We are delighted to host this celebration of craft with many different makers on show all so talented and producing beautiful wares. It is ideal if you are looking for exquisite gifts for loved ones or a treat for yourself.”

Visitors to the Makers’ Fair can also browse the fabulous Museum Shop which has an excellent range of cards and gifts to suit all pockets, and enjoy morning coffee and cake or lunch in Little Al’s Kitchen at the Balcony Café. Visitors can take the opportunity to visit the current exhibition Elizabeth and Stanhope Forbes – A Marriage of Art. Tickets to the exhibition can be purchased in advance via www.museumsworcestershire.org.uk, or on the day from the Museum Shop.

Entry to the Spring Makers’ Fair is free and is on at Worcester City Art Gallery & Museum on Saturday 3 May 10am – 4pm and Sunday 4 May 10am – 3pm.
