Bite size talk: Hidden Histories, Worcestershire’s slave trade in coins (online)
Tues 11 May, 1.30pm
Join Museums Worcestershire curators on the 2nd Tuesday of each month for a series of talks about the collections. Discover links to both sides of Worcestershire’s slave trade – those who sought to abolish it and those who benefited from it – in the Museum’s Numismatics (coins & medals) Collection, with numismatist Dr. Murray Andrews.
Online bite size talks are approximately 15 minutes long, plus time for questions via chat box.
This event will run online. Registration is compulsory – you will be emailed the online link for the talk before the event.
Please consider making a donation: Online talks are free but donations are welcomed (suggested donation £3 – the usual fee for Bite Size Talks). You can do this by booking via Art Tickets through the button above.
If you prefer, you can also send a cheque payable to Worcester City Council to: Henrietta Rusnak, Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum, Foregate Street, Worcester, WR1 1DT.
