Talks by the Battle of Worcester Society

The Battle of Worcester Society are back with a series of talks hosted in the historic setting of The Commandery.
Thursday 28 April – Howard Robinson: ‘The Monarch’s Way’.
Thursday 19 May – Dr Imogen Peck, University of Coventry, ‘Recollections in the Republic – Memories of the British Civil Wars in England 1649 – 1651’.
Thursday 23 June – Robbie Porter, BoWs Executive Committee member, ‘Cromwell’s Head and Other Frightful Civil War Miscellany’.
Tuesday 19 July – Dr Chris Monaghan, University of Worcester, ‘Impeachment. The Stuarts and the Road to the English Civil War’.
Thursday 18 August – Professor Stephen Rutherford, University of Cardiff, ‘Manie Dangerous Wounds and Shotts; the Impact and Treatment of Wounds at the Battle of Worcester and in the British Civil Wars’.
£7 to attend. Tickets are available from The Commandery shop and the Tourist Information Centre.
