Professor Darren Oldridge: Armies in the Sky: Visions and Wonders in the English Civil War

Supernatural events were reported widely in seventeenth-century England, and politicised during the English Civil War.
In this talk, Professor Darren Oldridge invites you to turn the pages of contemporary books describing strange apparitions, portents and judgements, and visions in the sky.
Darren Oldridge is Professor of Early Modern History at the University of Worcester.
