Discover volunteering at The Commandery

Would you like to support your local museum by joining a fantastic team of volunteers?

Meet like-minded people who also volunteer, greet visitors as they arrive, help make family activities and school trips a success, or join the garden team to keep the historic grounds looking beautiful.

Please arrive by 11:20am for an 11:30am start in the Great Hall at The Commandery.

Booking is not essential and the event is free to attend; however, we’d be grateful if you could book a space online or give us a call on 01905 361821. This simply helps us to gauge numbers and know how much cake to order!

If you are unable to make the event but would like more information, please email volunteer@museumworcestershire.org.uk and we can arrange an alternative time to get in touch.

What can you expect on the day?

• An introduction to The Commandery and what it’s like to volunteer here
• A tour of the building
• A chance to ask questions of the team, including current volunteers
• Tea, coffee and cake!
• An opportunity to sign up as a volunteer, or arrange a chat at a later date
