Hartlebury Castle reopens!
After our closed period in January, Hartlebury Castle reopens on Saturday 1 February! Look forward to our exciting new programme of events and activities – keep your eyes peeled for updates on Hartlebury Castle’s website page. It’s sister museum The Commandery – Worcester will also reopen on the same day, which you can read more about here.
Set in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside, Hartlebury Castle is the perfect place to escape and spend time with friends and family. Discover the historic house that was home to the Bishops of Worcester for 1000 years and let the marvelous talking portraits guide you around the Bishops’ Palace. Tour grand State Rooms, enjoy wonderful views from the Long Gallery and find hidden rooms as you discover more about the lives of those who lived at the Castle over the centuries.
Enjoy Worcestershire County Museum’s fascinating collections including costumes, transport and toy gallery, before following in the footsteps of royalty as you stroll around the picturesque grounds. When you’re ready for a spot of refreshment, take your pick of drinks and delicious snacks from the Bishop’s Table Café.
