Japan-inspired printmaking: family workshop (cancelled)
Saturday 2 July, 11am – 1pm | Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum
Unfortunately this workshop has been cancelled; apologies for any disappointment.
If you are planning to visit on Saturday 2 July, you might enjoy the Jump into Japan family trail.
Try woodblock printing with artist Rowan Mconegal, and create fantastic prints inspired by traditional Japanese techniques – with a modern twist.
There are four timed slots of half an hour between 11am and 1pm. Each half-hour session will involve a demonstration of the method and practical printing using pre-carved blocks.
The spring exhibition, Hokusai’s Great Wave: Reflections of Japan, contains lots of examples of printmaking.
Free, no need to book; find the team in the Activity Space.
