Summer Tonic Workshop, 11am – 1pm
Increase your confidence and knowledge of the uses of herbs for healing and enjoyment. This two hour workshop will cover some of the basic principles of western herbal medicine, and how herbs can be used to enhance health and wellbeing. We will discuss self help using herbs, identifying and sourcing them, some of the many different ways to use them, and when to use them. We will taste some teas and make an ointment. We will discuss the concept of ‘seasonal tonics’, looking at what fresh and foraged herbs can be found at the time. This workshop will be led by Rowan McOnegal, who is a qualified medical herbalist with 30 years teaching and herbal experience.
