Terrific Teddies and Toys (pre-booking essential)

Timed pre-booked sessions running between 11am – 4pm. Standard admission applies & payment will be taken over the phone at the point of booking (find admission costs here).

Bring your favourite teddy bear along for a picnic! Join us on Bank Holiday Monday 31 May to join our teddy bear friends for some fun and games around Hartelbury Castle! Explore the Castle’s beautiful grounds, and enjoy the Castle and Museum’s amazing exhibitions and displays. Refreshments will be available in the Carriage Circle too, to enjoy as you take part in our family activities throughout the day.

Book a storytelling session – Hear all about where teddies go when their children are asleep! Ian Craigan will be telling ‘Adventures on Top Toy Island’ with with props and puppets to bring the stories to life. These sessions will take place outside in good weather, indoors if it rains.

More fun for families

Join a teddy bear hunt around the Museum, and craft your own jumping Jack teddy – children can pick up a craft bag to make their teddy in our orchard rooms or take home to make! A session coordinator will oversee activities and sanitise the area and equipment between users.

Booking:

Pre-booked sessions start at 11.30am and finish at 2pm (30 min sessions: 11.30 -12; 12.20 -12.50; 1.20-1.40; 2-2.30).

Please note: Pre-booking is essential for both general visits and for sessions to avoid disappointment as limited spaces are available. Visitor numbers will be capped to maintain distancing. All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled due to Covid-19 and government guidelines.
