Virtual Time Travel Trail
Thursday 27 October, 5.30 – 8.30pm | Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum
The Virtual Time Travel Trail is intended to bring together the activities of the Worcester Life Stories project from the last 2 years. The evening will be a grand celebration of local memories and nostalgia using the historic city of Worcester as a large-scale canvas.
Worcester Life Stories was awarded National Lottery Heritage Funding in 2020 and the project team has commissioned a specialist supplier, London Guildhall School of Music and Drama, to deliver an outdoor and indoor projection-based event on 27 October 2022.
The trail comprises a number of sites around the city centre as the canvas for large-scale projections and will be supported by heritage attractions – including Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum – which are staying open for the evening.
A projection will take place in the activity space at the Museum.
Free entry; the wonderful independent café, Little Al’s at the Balcony, will be open during the evening.
Canaletto: A Venetian’s View will be open during the evening; please note there is an admission charge for the exhibition, but this does not affect your free entry to the rest of the museum, café, toilets, and shop.
The Commandery is also part of the Virtual Time Travel Trail.
This event is organised by the Worcester Life Stories project.
