Open February to December each year.
There is a full-site closure on Sunday 2 November 2025.
Occasionally the Castle & Grounds are closed for weddings or other private functions. On these dates you can still visit the County Museum at a reduced cost.

Can I bring my dog?
Dogs are welcome in the grounds and reception building, as well as in the outdoor seating area of Hayley’s Kitchen café. Assistance dogs are welcome throughout the site. Please find a full accessibility guide for Hartlebury Castle here.

Worcestershire County Museum at Hartlebury Castle is situated in the heart of the Worcestershire countryside, just south of Kidderminster.

By Car or Coach
Free parking for cars and coaches. We are located off the A449 in the village of Hartlebury, near Kidderminster and Stourport and just 20 minutes from both the M42 (Junction 1) and M5 (Junction 6). The entrance to the Castle is next to the White Hart pub.

By Train
Hartlebury train station is a 15-20 minute walk from Hartlebury Castle, with trains from Birmingham and Worcester. Trains run less frequently on Sundays. Plan your journey with Trainline.
