Curator’s Talk: Treasures of the Tickenhill Collection

The Tickenhill Collection, donated by the Parker's of Bewdley, formed the basis of the County Museums collection.  For over 12 months our curator David Nash and volunteers have been researching this fabulous collection, and will share some of the treasures they have discovered along the way in this special talk. Curators' Talks at the County Museum run for at least an hour. Talks can be booked by calling 01299 250416.

Commandery museum closing early for Summer Fete

Please note: On Thursday 22 August 2019 only, The Commandery’s museum and exhibition rooms will be closed from 3:45pm. This is due to the venue being booked for a summer fete. Christmas Elf Trail

From Saturday 5 December  to Wednesday 23 December 2020. Worcestershire County Museum, housed in the north wing of Hartlebury Castle, will be dressed for Christmas and families can come and hunt for the 12 cheeky Christmas elves hiding around the museum site.

Once Upon a Time in Worcester: drop-in family workshop

Join us in our lovely welcoming Activity Space to create your very own 3D street scene – we will use collage and printing techniques to create the backdrop - then you will make peg doll people, alley cats and stray dogs to fill your street how you want to!
